Ingredients Required to Make RSO

Below are the ingredients needed to make Rick Simpson cannabis oil:

1. Eight to nine liters of a solvent
2. A pound of dried cannabis
3. Funnels
4. A few small-sized containers
5. Two twenty-liter buckets
6. A 2×2 piece of wood
7. Coffee filters
8. A coffee warmer
9. Rice cooker
10. A large fan
11. A stainless steel measuring cup
12. Plastic syringes

Steps 

Below are the steps involved in making Rick Simpson Cannabis Oil:

Step 1: Purchase a Pound of Weed

Get a high THC-Indica cannabis strain known for producing sleepy/sedative effects. Anything of Blackberry Kush lineage or Northern Lights would do.

Step 2: Wash the Bud with Water in a Bucket

Pour your solvent into the bucket containing your dried cannabis bud. After that, use the wood to crush it up. You want to spend three to four minutes washing the bud. This would help to separate the trichomes from the flower.

After that, pour your solvent into another bucket to separate it from the cannabis flower. Thereafter, repeat this process for another wash.

Step 3: Introduce the Oily Mixture into Clean Containers

After the washing process in the previous step, place the coffee filters into your funnels, and then use the funnels to pour your mixture into clean containers. This will help separate the oil you are trying to get from the dried cannabis. Once complete, you want to trash the plant material.  

Step 4: Introduce Your Semi-Ready RSO into a Rice Cooker

Regardless of the type of solvent you use, ensure that it is completely burned off. This will enable you to use Rick Simpson oil more safely. To achieve this, you want to pour your oily mixture into an electric rice cooker and turn it to a temperature ranging between 210 and 230 degrees Fahrenheit.

While the rice cooker heats, the solvent will burn off, leaving only the hemp oil behind. Ensure you keep the temperature below 300 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because the temperature can burn off the cannabinoids in your Rick Simpson oil.

Step 5: Pour Your RSO into Syringes

You want to siphon the oil into syringes once the solvent completely evaporates. You would notice that it has thickened into a thick syrupy cannabinoid and terpene-rich medicine.
